About Me: Crafting Stories, Connecting Ideas
From an early age, I discovered the power of words and communication, using music, poetry, and spoken word to express my ideas and inspire others. My passion for storytelling led me to Albany State University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication in 2013 and was honored as a “Who’s Who Among Colleges and Universities” award recipient.
After graduation, I published two books focused on embracing individuality and discovering unique purpose. In 2015, I founded The Writing Counsel, a company dedicated to empowering individuals to write and publish their own books, sharing stories that leave lasting legacies and inspire others.
While pursuing my Master’s degree in Mass Communication, I spent five years as an English Language Arts teacher, shaping young minds in middle and high school classrooms. Today, I serve as a Global Professional Instructor for The Crisis Prevention Institute, where I teach effective communication strategies and crisis intervention principles to leaders in healthcare, education, and human services.
My work has been featured on Fox News, WALB, and Atlanta News, and I continue to focus on creating platforms for impactful storytelling. In 2024, I founded The Share Circle, a community designed to amplify voices and share ideas that change the world.
With years of experience as a Writing Consultant and Communication Specialist, my mission is to help individuals and organizations harness the power of words to create meaningful connections, inspire action, and leave a legacy.
